A photo from Negxy Concept limited, a study abroad agency in Lagos, Nigeria. That reads University intakes in Ireland

University Intakes in Ireland

UNIVERSITY INTAKES IN IRELAND     If you are looking to study in Europe, Ireland should be one of the countries on your list, as it is among the top 10 study abroad destinations for students and it provides one of the best education systems in the world. There are different university Intakes (Semesters) available in Ireland, knowing these intakes helps you with vital information needed for your studies. Become an international student in Ireland today and gain the following benefits.  High-quality education Great career opportunities Safety English Language development  Post-study work permit  Personal development City life and nature adventures etc However, getting an education in Ireland will be difficult without proper planning and this may result in getting rejected by an Irish university and losing all of these benefits. To study in Ireland, you should be aware of the admission intakes available as this will determine the requirements and the timeline needed to avoid rush hour.  Every year, we come across students who begin their admission process when it is getting close to the university application deadline, this is known as the rush hour. These students put their studies at a big risk as the outcome may not always be favourable. Avoid rush hour and begin your application process early, according to the university intake of your choice.  If you want to study in Ireland, the first thing you should look into are the university intakes. Irish universities offer two major intakes which are  September (Autumn/Fall) Intake  January/February (Spring) Intake    SEPTEMBER (AUTUMN/FALL) INTAKE  The autumn/Fall intake begins in September and runs till December, it is known to be the major intake at universities in Ireland. The application deadline for the fall intake is June/July. This means that by June or July, universities in Ireland stop accepting applications for students with the intent to study for the September (Fall) intake.  Students with the intention to go for the fall intake, are therefore advised to begin their application process in January/February before the June/July deadline, so as to avoid rush hour and ensure they are being granted an offer with a smooth process.   Within the periods of February, March, April and May, students are expected to complete the Admission/ Visa process.    JANUARY/FEBRUARY (SPRING) INTAKE The Spring intake begins late January and runs till  May. University intakes during this period are less, compared to the September (Fall) Intake. This intake is not carried out by every Irish University and it does not apply to all courses. Contact our agency to get full information on the courses and universities that carry out the January/February (Spring) intake.   The application deadline for the spring intake is September/October. This means that by September or October universities in Ireland stop accepting applications for students with the intent to study for the January/February (Spring) intake.  Therefore students with the intention to study during the spring intake, are advised to begin their application process in  May/June before the September/October deadline, to avoid rush hour and ensure they are being granted an offer.  Within the periods of May, June, July and August, students are expected to complete the Admission/ Visa process and await their departure dates for their studies in Ireland.    APRIL INTAKE This intake is not part of the major intakes for Irish Universities as very few universities in Ireland perform it and it is open to very few courses, like business courses. Speak with our counsellors to get full information on the courses and universities that carry out this intake.  The application deadline for the spring intake is January/February, therefore students looking to study during the April intake are advised to begin their admission process before the deadline.  The application/visa process that you as a prospective study abroad student must complete before successfully going for their studies abroad are:   Select the course and the Universities to study: As a prospective study abroad student, your opinion should be based on your interests. The courses you choose should be aligned with your study, career goals and affordability. Register for an English level test, prepare and take the exam: Since universities in Ireland are English-speaking, it is mandatory that an English test is presented, if not during the application process, then during the Visa processing. An English level test result is among the documents to be present during an Irish student visa application.  Begin your application process at Negxy Concept Limited: Start your admission process at our agency by providing the necessary documents: International Passport, Degree Certificate, Transcript, Reference letter, Personal Statement, CV and await a response from the school within 48hours-12weeks.  Accept your admission offer: After you have been granted an offer, confirm your acceptance and await your interview (If required).  Start your Visa process at Negxy Concept Limited: After a successful application process, apply for your Irish student visa through our agency by providing the necessary documents which are: Valid International Passport, Birth Certificate, Passport Photographs, Payslips for 6 months, Bank Account Statement of 6 months (Proof of Funds), Proof of fully paid tuition fees, Offer letter ( Admission Letter), Statement of Purpose, English test results and payment for your visa and medical insurance fee. Await your Irish student visa: Attend your visa interview, which is scheduled after a successful application. After the interview, wait for a response from the embassy.    check out the youtube video below to watch one of our live sessions with our counsellor and a representative from the national college of Ireland.     Contact our counsellors today! for detailed information on the different university intakes in Ireland. UK University Application Deadline

UK University Application Deadline

UK UNIVERSITY APPLICATION DEADLINE    As a study abroad agency in Nigeria that has processed over 5000 successful admissions and we assist prospective study abroad students with their Visa processing to study in prestigious universities overseas, therefore, we are in the best position to direct you on your admission process.  We always advise Prospective study abroad students who wish to carry out their application process at our agency to begin at least  3 to 4 months before the start of the course (session). For example, students aiming for the January intake should begin to process their admission in September as this ensures that they are meeting up with the UK application deadline, successfully get granted admission and travel for their studies.  Below are the different stages a prospective study abroad student will go through before successfully travelling for studies abroad. Each of these stages is done within a certain period, so students are advised to begin the process early, to enable them to meet up with the UK University application deadline.   STAGES OF THE ADMISSION PROCESS The different stages of admission processing are as follows:  APPLICATION PROCESSING STAGE VISA PROCESSING STAGE   APPLICATION PROCESSING STAGE Contact us at Negxy Concept Limited today, to get your application process started. The following are the duration time that each application step takes before admission is granted.  Apply for a university in the UK at our agency and await a response from the school within 48 hours – 12 weeks.  After the application process, a response will be sent from the university, stating whether he/she has been granted an offer or not.  However, there are 2 types of offers A conditional offer An unconditional offer   A conditional offer A student that has been granted admission with the condition to provide certain documents or write an English level test will receive a conditional offer.  Students with a conditional offer to provide a document like a transcript, degree certificate, Academic reference are expected to get the document available at least within a week.    Those students who have been requested to present an English Level Test for their application would have to write either an IELT, a TOEFL or an internal English test and await the result within 14 working days.    An unconditional offer A student that has been granted admission with no conditions will receive an unconditional offer. Students in this category can go ahead to request a CAS and apply for a VISA. After an unconditional offer has been granted, payment of Tuition deposit and provision of the bank statement must be made before a student can request for a CAS (Confirmation for Acceptance of studies). Payment of tuition deposit at the bank with a ‘form A’ takes at least 2weeks, also, payment made through wired transfer takes at least 1 week.    A bank statement of 28 days should be provided by prospective UK students. However, Providing a statement of account (Bank Statement) might require one to gradually build their account within a few days or weeks in order to meet up with the stipulated amount which should contain the cost of living in the UK and the balance of the tuition fee.   After a student has been granted an unconditional offer, made a tuition deposit and provided a 28 days bank statement, the student can go ahead to request CAS (Confirmation for Acceptance of Studies) and fill out the pre CAS form. Some schools in the UK demand an interview before a CAS can be issued, this is called a Pre-CAS interview while some do not. After a student has applied for CAS, the certificate will be granted within 0 – 2 weeks.    VISA PROCESSING STAGE Contact us at Negxy Concept Limited today, to get your Visa process started. To know the required documents needed for visa processing,  Read through our previous blog post titled ‘ UK Student Visa Requirements; What to do after getting an admission in the UK’  The date for issuance of the TB (Tuberculosis) test varies, however, the test can be done within one week to one month and the result will be out immediately. It is important to note that the test result is valid for 6 months.   Payment of IHS (International Health Surcharge) and Visa fees can be made immediately. UK Student Visa will be granted within 1 to 2 weeks after Visa Interview has been made.    Students with the intention to study abroad in the UK should be aware of the duration of time that each step and stage an admission process takes and learn how to manage and work with the different time frames to meet up with the UK Visa and Application deadlines.    ADVANTAGE OF AN EARLY ADMISSION PROCESS Begining an early admission process gives a prospective study abroad student the opportunity to successfully travel abroad for his or her studies as the student will have a great chance of avoiding delays that may appear during both the application and Visa processes. The student will also have enough time to provide all the necessary documents that are required to meet up the UK University application deadline, successfully process their admission and travel for their studies.    CONSEQUENCES OF A LATE ADMISSION PROCESS Not getting an admission (offer) Losing an offer: This can be either because of late tuition deposit payment or late provision of the necessary documents.  Missing out on the resumption date due to the delay in the application process (Therefore the student must defer their admission until the next intake)    Contact our counsellors for more detailed information on the UK University application deadline how to successfully go through the admission and visa processing to the UK and Ireland today!  Negxy Concept Limited is a study abroad agency in Lagos with over 5000 successful admissions and visas under her belt. Post-Study Work Permit in Ireland

POST-STUDY WORK PERMIT IN IRELAND.     WHAT IS A POST-STUDY WORK PERMIT? HOW TO GET A WORK PERMIT AFTER STUDYING IN IRELAND. Today’s blog post is a short story on what transpired between our counsellor and a prospective international student. It is a quiet day at Negxy Concept, the CEO, Mr, Nelson Eban is seated in his office, talking to the office NYSC Corper, Anyanwu Agatha. The counsellor and senior admissions officer, Mr Tosin Eminowa and Mrs Queensley Ezike are busy at their desk working through some files and the digital marketing Manager Miss. Folasade Abimbola, alongside the Junior admissions officer, Miss. Providence Ogedengbe are together at the reception trying to create some content for their online audience when the entrance door opens. A middle-aged woman walks into the office. After being attended to by the receptionist, she is taken to the counsellor, Mr Tosin Eminowa, as she is a prospective client, who desires to study in Ireland. COUNSELOR: Good Afternoon Ma’am. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: Good Afternoon Counselor, please I would like to study abroad in Ireland with the help of this agency, as I have heard so much about Negxy Concept Limited. However, I would like to know more about the privileges of studying in Ireland. COUNSELOR: You are welcome to Negxy Concept Limited Ma’am, thank you for being here. Studying in Ireland is a great choice and it has a lot of privileges, for example, a quality education, a promising career, a high level of security but the most exciting of all is that you get the opportunity to stay back for as long as two years after graduation. This is known as a post-study work permit. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: This seems exciting; do tell me more about this work permit. COUNSELOR: It was created for international students who wish to work in Ireland after the completion of their degrees, to gain invaluable work experience in a specific field thereby strengthening their CV and opening doors to a successful career. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: This work permit seems compelling. COUNSELOR: It is a post-study work permit Ma’am, a work permit is different from a post-study work permit. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: Oh really? How so? COUNSELOR: A post-study work permit allows you to secure graduate employment and also enables you to apply for a work permit or a green card in Ireland. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: Is the 2years post-study work permit for international students who studied any degree in Ireland? COUNSELOR: No, Ma’am, the 2 years post-study work permit only applies to students who have a level 9 and 10 NFQ (National Framework of qualifications), which is a post-graduate diploma, a master’s degree and a doctoral degree. The students must have also applied for the third level graduate program within six months of being notified that they have completed their degree. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: Do tell me more. COUNSELOR: The NFQ levels for higher education that gives a post-study permit that is lower than 2years is level 7 and 8, which is the ordinary bachelor’s degree and the honours bachelors degree. These degrees are only eligible for a 1-year post-study work permit unlike the level 9 and 10 that is eligible for  2 years post-study work permit. Also, the third level graduate program was introduced by the Irish government to allow international students who have completed their degrees from a recognized Irish higher institution to remain in Ireland after their studies. Therefore, international students who have graduated from an Irish university must apply for a third level graduate program to be eligible for a post-study work permit, no matter the NFQ level of degree attained. PROSPECTIVE CLIENT: I would like to go for a Masters program, so i believe this offer was made especially for me. Thank you so much for this session, it was really educative. COUNSELOR: That is perfect Ma’am. You are very much welcome, thank you for choosing Negxy Concept Limited. We would need a few information from you to begin the process for a master’s program in Ireland. Here is a list of universities, I would do a briefing on them shortly. What are you waiting for?
